Several essential factors affecting the effect of heat sublimation transfer printing

1. Temperature and time          

The process of thermal sublimation transfer requires that the temperature should be controlled in the range of 180 ℃ ~ 230 ℃, and the time should be about 10 ~ 30s. At the same time, attention should be paid to the reasonable allocation of temperature and time.        

2, Ink            

The key materials of sublimation transfer printing technology are mainly composed of disperse dyes, linkers, solvents and a small amount of additives. The dyes should have good sublimation transfer and permeability, and reach certain fastness index. The transfer printing dyes with molecular weight of 23O ~ 380 and sublimation temperature of 180 ℃ ~ 240 ℃ are anthraquinone, azo and cationic dyes.          

 3, Pressure            

Pressure is also one of the important parameters of the heat sublimation transfer process. For example, if the pressure is too small, the gap between the fabric and the transfer paper is large, the yarn is round, and the ink molecules collide with the air in a large amount Loose, resulting in poor printing effect, at the same time, the ink is easy to penetrate, the lines become thick, so that the pattern and pattern are fuzzy, and the visual effect is poor; if the pressure is too large, it is easy to produce problems such as deformation, fluffing and shape change of heavy fabric, resulting in rough and hard hand feel and coloring surface. Therefore, it is very important to control the transfer pressure for printing pattern, clear pattern and visual effect.        

  4. Sublimation paper            

In addition to ink, temperature, time and pressure will affect the quality of thermal sublimation transfer, there are also some matters worthy of our attention in the actual production process. It is the selection of transfer paper, whether the coating of thermal sublimation paper is uniform, whether there is any missing coating, whether the black spots and colors are consistent, whether the surface is smooth, whether Baidu is high, and whether the paper's ink absorption performance and drying time will affect the final printing effect.
